The final Cornerstone Festival
What do you get when you combine an awful economy and a diminished music business where artists are asking fans to pay for music to get recorded because traditional labels have pretty much disappeared, along with CD racks at your local stores? You get a radical downsizing of all the good things in life you used to look forward to, like the annual Christian music festival you so enjoyed attending.
Today ChristianMusicDaily.com learned that Cornerstone Festival’s 2012 fest will be its last. The festival, outside of Chicago, started in 1984 and grew and grew. You’d better attend this year, because it will be Cornerstone’s last fest. What do you think about this? Post your comments.
